    Well, the final tournament, the Oosik 2002,  is next Saturday, the 10th of Aug.  The T-Birds have 

    dissolved, so that leaves just 4 teams in the union, but we all know that the Oosik is a good time.

    Good luck to everyone in this years final tourney and I will see you next season.

    The Golden Days Tournament was awesome.  The games were good, and the drink-up was even

    better.  If you run into Al, give him a big thanks for the after-party at the Den.  Many thanks to the 

    Red Rock Roaches for coming all the way from Arizona.

    We had our first home game weekend against the Dragons and the T-Birds.  The Sundawgs prevailed

    in both games.  We are very much looking forward to the Golden Days.  See you there.

    Well, our first official games were this past weekend at Davis Field and we got our assess

    handed to us.  But, we also got an education.  The next series of games are at Newby Field 

    in North Pole on 15 Jun.  Please come out and show some support for a fantastic sport  If 

    you have an interest in playing do not hesitate to use the e-mail at the bottom of the page or 

    come to a game or practice.  We practice every Tuesday and Thursday at the UAF near the 

    Patty Building.

    Our first official game of the season is this weekend, 1 Jun, 12:00pm at Davis Field in Anchorage

    against the Ravens.  Our second game is against the Barbos at 3:00pm.  Let's give them a good 

    Sundawgs fight.  See you there.

    Posted below is the unofficial scores of the Mother Tucker.  For those that weren't able

    to make it, you missed a pretty good tourney.  The Sundawgs that made it down ended

    up whoring for the Dragons.  Our practice time has changed to 6:30pm, location and

    days is the same.  See you there.

    We had a pretty good first practice yesterday.  Until further notice, the practices

    will be Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm at the field next to the Patty Building

    on UAF campus.

    The practice has changed.  We will meet at the gym as stated, but we will

    be carpooling to the UAF Patty Center lower field so we can meet with

    the more experienced players and get some tutelage from the seasoned

    Sundawgs.  Sorry for the short notice.  Hope to see you there.

    Maggotfest is over and the casualties have returned.  Our first practice has 

    been changed to the soccer field on Eielson.  Meet at the gym at 5:00pm 

    and we will migrate over there as a gaggle.  See you there.

    The final schedule has been posted, along with the 16 Apr 02 Union meeting

    minutes which can be read here.  Let's have a good season.  Don't forget to 

    register, according to the meeting minutes, they will be checking.  See you on

    I changed the format of the photos page.  I hope it is more to your liking.

    We still can't get anyone to post on the board or the book.  I know you

    guys are not that damn illiterate.  Come on, give me some feedback.

    I can't function without it; I wouldn't know where to go if everybody didn't

    tell me.  I should have the real schedule posted real soon.  Keep checking

    Been exactly a week since my last update.  I have heard that 

    some of you actually like the website.  Well, if you like it leave a 

    post on the message board.   If you don't like it, tell me how much I 

    suck at web design.  If you want to see something up here or know 

    of a website that should be listed, leave a post on the message board

    or shoot me an e-mail.  If you are too shy to let me know, hell just

    enjoy the links and pictures, and come back  soon for some more updates.

    posting.  Please note that we will now have two regular season

    games up here, as well as the Golden Days tourney.

    We are looking at a get-together at the Badger's Den on Badger

    Road in a couple of weeks so the team can meet and talk rugby

    for some of the rookies.

    Season opener is the Mother Tucker tourney in Anchorage at

    Davis Field, tentatively scheduled May 17 & 18.  As soon as the 

    ice breaks, we will begin practice.  As of right now, it will be on 

    Tuesday and Thursday.  Location to be announced.
